VSS Dealer Responsibilities
- Stay in touch and communicate with your Vt. Solid Surface, contractor and/or homeowner. Know what is happening and when. Write it down!!
- Advise your customers.
- Decisions for Colors, Edge Treatments, Back-splash options, drain-boards, trivet rods should have been decided with the homeowner and/or contractor ahead of time.
- Provide V.S.S with accurate directions to the job. Do Not rely on MapQuest.
- GET US A PHYSICAL ADDRESS.
- FOR Templating :Be aware of the process and make sure you are aware of the progress of your clients. To avoid inconvenience for your clients and a large cost to V.S.S., make sure they are ready, or give us lots of notice so we can try to fill the time slot. Please stress to clients the importance to staying on schedule.
- Advise clients to have appliances and sinks on site. If you are not using a solid surface ( Corian ) sink, than have the sink and faucet
- that you are using on the job at the time of templating so we can pick up the sink and install it in our shop.
- If new electrical lighting is going in over the countertop, Please advise everyone to get it done before we install the countertop. A new countertop is not a fancy work platform!
- AGAIN: Stay in touch and communicate with your clients. Know what is happening and when. Write it down!!
- Advise the everyone who needs to know
- Old countertop must be removed. Work area should be uncluttered for installer safety and efficiency. Check with client to make sure this is or will be done, on time...
- Once we finish the installation of the top, it is ready to have the plumbing and any electrical cook-tops hooked up. V.S.S does not hook these up.
Re: Dogs - Please have dogs secured out of the access area of our trucks and the jobs. Even friendly dogs get nervous and react differently when workers are
carrying in large unusual items.
We have had issues in the past, and it’s a problem that is easy to avoid. Thank you
